History of the TyRex Learning Foundation

The TyRex Learning Foundation was founded in 2005 as a nonprofit organization with the mission statement to help students of all ages learn how to start their own entrepreneurial business. Armed with the collected knowledge of founder John Bosch’s extensive career in entrepreneurial businesses, the foundation aimed to partner with academic organizations to provide the knowledge and structure for teaching young entrepreneurs what they needed to have a chance at surviving past their first three years in business.

Today, the TyRex Learning Foundation has found a new start online. The classroom is evolving to include methods of learning beyond the brick and mortar school. We aim to supplement traditional learning methods by helping students and young entrepreneurs teach themselves by providing learning materials online. Doing this allows a student to learn as fast or slow as they can, utilizing a competency based methodology that ensures a concept is understood before moving on and building on that concept in future lessons.
